Complete macro fertilizers will contain Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). The producer will consider the function of each of these elements and sell them in an appropriate comparison. Therefore the farmer must understand the phase of the plant he has so that he can buy it appropriately. If the plant is in the vegetative growth phase, it must adjust the type of fertilizer to the vegetative growth of the plant.
