The Environmental Protection Agency of America (US-EPA) defines: Volatile Organic Compound (VOC): Any organic compound (excluding methane, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, carbonic acid, metallic carbides or carbonates, and ammonium carbonate) which would be emitted during use, application, drying or architectural coating. Use Low VOC Products

By reading the things above, you should keep the home environment healthy. Therefore to keep healthy, we should use paint or low VOC products. And this is important when you buy products for the home rather than outside the home. Many products have low VOC qualifications.
